Every year during the migration there will be unique days when exceptionally large groups of raptors appear in the valley. When 100+ Swainson’s hawks are spotted the “Hawksters” will send out an email blast that evening. This notification will give you the opportunity to learn where the hawks are roosting, their estimated numbers, and the best strategy to witness the migration in the morning.

You never know what mother nature is going to do! However, when signing up for the HAWK ALERT, the odds are in your favor to experience a wonderful natural spectacle.
